New Testament
Matt. 6:12 Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors;
Am I sorry for my sins? Do I recognize my sin, or deny that I am sinful?
Am I grateful to God for all Jesus did for me? Matt. 26:28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins.

Matt. 6:14 If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you.
Is there anyone I am very angry with? Is there someone I have not forgiven? Who is the person that can ruin day if he or she comes to mind? Can I let go of that chain that keeps me bound? Matt. 16:19 I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Matt. 25:32 He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. Matt. 25:33 He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Matt. 25:34 Then the king will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Matt. 25:35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, Matt. 25:36 naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’ Matt. 25:41 Then he will say to those on his left, “Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Matt. 25:42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink
Have I helped the poor? Have I visited or written to someone in jail? Have I visited the sick? Have I moved my elderly parent into a nursing home far from home against their will? Have I given to charity? Have I looked for your face in the eyes of a least brother or sister of mine? Have I refused someone a handout? Luke 6:30 Give to everyone who asks of you, and from the one who takes what is yours do not demand it back.

John 8:15 You judge by appearances, but I do not judge anyone.
Am I prejudiced towards others? Do I judge others based on their looks, their culture, language, race or religion? Do I judge others based on sexual preferences? Do I condemn others for their status of living? Do I look down on someone because of their age?

Matt. 28:18-20 Then Jesus approached and said to them, “Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
Do I evangelize? Have I ever invited another person to pray with me, or attend Church with me? Am I embarrassed to pray in a restaurant? Do I even pray before meals at home? Do my friends know I am Catholic? Do I teach my children our prayers? Luke 9:26 Whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

James 3:6 The tongue is also a fire. It exists among our members as a world of malice, defiling the whole body and set ting the entire course of our lives on fire, itself set on fire by Gehenna.
Have I gossiped? Have I cursed? Have I yelled at someone when a reasonable conversation would have resolved a dispute? Have I cut someone down with a complaint instead of a compliment?

Matt. 7:2 For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you. Do I have a loving heart? Do I criticize before I look for strengths in those around me? Do I keep people at arm’s length? Do I refuse to give someone a second chance?

Luke 10:27 He said in reply, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
Do I treat others with respect? Have I been patient with another’s differences? Have I been sensitive to another’s needs and weaknesses? Do I offer support to others, or run away in difficult times? Have I taken good care of my own health? Do I treasure my talents, my interests, my sexuality as a gift from God? Do I cherish my body as a gift from God?
Do I refuse when someone from Church asks me to help or volunteer? When I look at my calendar, where does most of my time get spent?

1Cor. 6:18-20 Avoid immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the immoral person sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
For you have been purchased at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body.
Do I respect the sacred gift of sex God has given me, or do I abuse it? Do I abuse alcohol, drugs, food or cigarettes? Do I refuse to exercise, or stay up too late watching TV? Nowadays, watching TV at all is almost always sinful. Am I careful to avoid those times and places I am tempted to repeat particular sins?

Matt. 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Do I give to charity? Do I tithe (10%) to Church? Have I given regular attention to the praise and worship of God? When I look at my checkbook, or my credit card statements, where does most of my money go? Am I addicted to gambling? I am addicted to purchasing new items?
What are my top 10 possessions? Would I be willing to give up 3 of them for God?

Luke 4:16 He came to Nazareth, where he had grown up, and went according to his custom into the synagogue on the sabbath day.
Am I faithful to daily prayer? Do I love to praise God at Mass? Do I read the Bible regularly? Have I even read the Bible? For younger people: Do I even know who Moses is?
